MONROE – The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department will begin holding indoor tennis lessons, starting Jan. 8. Classes will run Tuesdays until Jan. 29 in the Parkside Elementary School gym and will be taught by Brad Saugstad. Tennis balls and rackets will be provided.
Lessons will be split between three age groups, with 4- to 6-year olds from 5:15-6 p.m., followed by first and second grade from 6-6:45 p.m. and third and fourth grade from 6:45-7:30 p.m. Parents or a sitter are requested for children ages 4-6.
