Recently five girls and three adults leaders from American Heritage Girls Group spent an afternoon at the Green County Veterans Memorial Park. They volunteered by pulling weeds, raked mulch, cleaned the benches and Wall of Honor. Their help in cleaning up the park was much appreciated. Also involved were GCVMP committee members Steve Hammel, Alex Olson and Clayton Rueggsegger. The park is currently updating some landscaping and resetting the flagpoles.
