BRODHEAD — Beginning this fall, the Congregational UCC, E201 23rd Street, Brodhead, will host Cups of Comfort: A Grief Café, a free monthly gathering for anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are invited to join for coffee, tea, cocoa or cider, a conversation, and compassionate support in a welcoming, nonjudgmental setting.

Each gathering will provide an opportunity to share stories, listen to others, and find encouragement among people who understand the challenges of grief. There is no pressure to speak, no expectation to “move on,” and no timetable for healing — just a safe place to be yourself.

The café will meet the first Wednesday of every month for approximately 60-90 minutes, beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 7, and ending March 3, 2027.
