Patricia M. Johnson, age 86 of Monroe passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Monroe Health Services. She was born on April 23, 1940 the daughter of Albert and Lillian (Dammen) Elet. She graduated from Argyle High School in 1958.

Patricia worked for 28 years in the Crafts Department at Walmart. She was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church. Patricia enjoyed dancing, especially the polka, as well as reading.

Patricia is survived by her children, Daniel (Tracie) Johnson of Monroe, Rebecca O’Brian of Harker Heights, TX, and Melody (Leland) Schild of Argyle; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Cale) Geschke, Katie (Mason Loden) Zimmerman, Jacob Johnson, and Andrew (Darrien Lettman) Schild; great-grandchild, Aislynn Johnson; son-in-law, Allan Zimmerman; brother, Randy (Brigetta) Elet.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Wendy Zimmerman; granddaughter, Stephanie; brother, Dave Elet; and special friend, Bob Pierstorff.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
