BRODHEAD - The Monroe girls track team won 11 of the 17 events en route to a 93-42 dual meet win over Brodhead-Juda Thursday.
Monroe's Brenna Bazley won the long jump with a leap of 15-feet, 1 3/4 inches. She also was a vital cog on the winning 400 and 3,200 relays.
The Cheesemakers 400 relay team finished first with a time of 54.8 seconds. Monroe's 3,200 relay team also finished first with a time of 11 minutes, 16 seconds.
Stephanie Wyss teamed with Maria Eberle, Tessa Frutiger and Jaclyn Ditter to win the 800 relay (1:52). Ditter finished first in the 100 (:13.2) and Seichter took top honors in the 3,200 (12:51). Lizzy Dale had the top spot in the 1,600 (6:29.1).
Molly Wyss took first in the high jump (4-10) and Allie Yurs was first in the 400.
Brodhead-Juda's Anne Hamel won the 100 and 300 hurdles. Brodhead-Juda junior Shannon Klein won the 200 (:27.6). The Cardinals won the 1,600 relay with a time of 4:30.4. Katy Schaefer took first in the 800 (2:53) and Stephanie Baade finished first in the shot put (28-11 1/2).
