On September 6:

● At approximately 11:33 a.m., Deputies responded to the N7200 block of County Highway E, Town of Albany, for a report of a two-vehicle accident.  Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Erin E Hartwig, 49, of Brodhead was northbound on County Highway E when a second vehicle operated by Thomas J Gomach, 44, of Stoughton entered the roadway going eastbound on Brooklyn Albany Rd. Hartwig’s vehicle then collided with Gomach’s vehicle. Hartwig and Gomach both denied injury, both reported wearing seatbelts, and no airbag deployment in either vehicle. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene. Gomach was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way from a Stop Sign and released with a non-mandatory court date. 

On September 10:

● At approximately 9:30 a.m., Deputies along with the Brooklyn Fire Department and Brooklyn EMS responded to the N8700 block of Sandy Hook Rd, Town of Brooklyn, for a  report of a single-vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Miriam Levinson, 60, of Madison was southbound on Sandy Hook Rd when she collided with a parked trailer on the roadway. Levinson reported injuries, reported wearing her seatbelt, and there was airbag deployment. Levinson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash. Levinson was cited for Inattentive Driving and released with a court date.
