MONTICELLO - The Marshall Bluff archery club will be the topic of the Monticello Area Historical Society meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Ave., Monticello.

Paul Rieder of Marshall Bluff Bowhunters will give a PowerPoint presentation about Marshall Bluff's history, including how it got its name and why the archery club was started 60 years ago. He also will have a display of bows, arrows and artifacts from Marshall Bluff.

The free presentation will start at about 7:15 p.m., after the regular meeting of the Monticello Area Historical Society.
