MONROE — The Democratic Party of Green County will host a “Coffee & Candidates” event featuring State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Kelda Roys on Wednesday, May 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Payne’s Family Coffeehouse in Monroe.
The event will offer community members an opportunity to meet Sen. Roys, hear about her campaign, and engage in conversation about the future of Wisconsin.
“This is a great opportunity for residents of Green County to connect directly with a candidate for governor and have their voices heard,” said Maxwell Brooks, Outreach Chair for the Green County Democratic Party. “We’re excited to bring this conversation directly to our community. It’s important for voters to have the opportunity to meet directly with their candidates, as opposed to making decisions based off of news headlines and social media.”
Attendees will have the chance to ask questions, discuss issues important to the region, and learn more about Roys’ vision for the state.
The event is free and open to the public.
