A 23-year-old man was arrested after an Iowa County Sheriff’s deputy saw him walking with a 65-inch TV.
Ryan J. Jolin is tentatively charged with theft, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping.
Jolin had not been charged as of press time. His address was listed as Dodgeville on a Sheriff’s Office social media release and Friendship on court records.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call Wednesday around 8:05 p.m. that someone had left Walmart in Dodgeville with the TV without paying for it.
A deputy immediately responded and saw the man walking near Walmart carrying a large TV that matched the description of the stolen TV.
Jolin was bound over for trial in Adams County May 27 on possession with intent of 10 to 50 grams methamphetamine and resisting an officer causing substantial battery for an incident July 17, according to court records. A plea/sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 28.
Jolin also is charged in Adams County with carry ing a concealed weapon for a March 202 incident, according to court records. A plea/sentencing hearing on that misdemeanor charge is also scheduled for July 28.
