MONROE — SSM Health Monroe Hospital Imaging Support Specialist Amanda Flannery has been presented with a Being Exceptional Every Day (BEE) Award in recognition of the exceptional care she provides.

Flannery was nominated for the award for consistently going well above and beyond her job duties. She always advocates for patients and is willing to support her teammates by being a trusted resource or offering help during times of need.

“Amanda doesn’t simply complete tasks — she takes the time to dig deeper, ask difficult questions, and ensure patients receive the most appropriate and timely care,” her nominator shared. “She is always available to answer questions, offer guidance, or step in when someone needs help.”

The BEE Award was created to recognize any non-nursing SSM Health staff members who demonstrate excellent quality care, extraordinary compassion, focus on the patient and the patient’s needs and effective collaboration with other members on the patient care team.
