Steven "Steve" Kim Lincicum, a father, grandfather, and lifelong farmer of rural Browntown, passed away at his home on August 21, 2026. Born on December 11, 1954, Steve was the eldest son of Lloyd and Marian (Kahl) Lincicum. He was a 1973 graduate of Monroe High School, he was an avid slow pitch softball player. He played league softball with the Turner Hall team for many years.
Steve dedicated his life to the land he loved. His career in agriculture began at the Ker-Megee Fertilizer plant, followed by years of service at Equity Livestock in the early 1980s while he continued to farm. Farming was more than a career for Steve; it was his true passion. In his early years, he and his family farmed on halves with George and Florence Salzwedel on County Rd HK near Monroe, a period cherished for the lifelong friendships and memories it created. In 1992, Steve fulfilled his ultimate dream by purchasing his own dairy farm on Coon Creek Road near Woodford, Wisconsin. There, new friends, memories, and more were created. Beyond the fields, he found great joy in the simplicity of the outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughters, Sara (Rick) Reed of Orangeville, IL, Becky (Brian) Kammes of Argyle, WI, and Katie (Andrew) Christenson of Amery, WI; his grandchildren, Abigail, Zack, and Mitchell Isely, Samantha and Charlotte Kammes, Justin and Kaleb Christenson. He is further survived by his brother, Todd (Theresa) Lincicum; sister-in-law, Cindy Lincicum; as well as special friend, Barbara Niekamp and bonus family, Traci, Matt, and Breclyn and bonus grandchildren, Gage and Kierin; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Marian; brothers, Vernon “Bud” (Katie) Lincicum and Scott Lincicum; nieces, Sharon (Nip) Sutter, Shirley Montanye, and Deana Bower.
