On April 2:
● At 9:50 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 69 and the on ramp to STH 11 eastbound, in the Town of Monroe, for a three vehicle crash. The investigation found that Gavin D. Robison, 22, of Monroe, was traveling southbound and began turning eastbound onto the STH 11 on ramp. Robison failed to yield to a northbound vehicle, driven by Trystan F. Wenger, 18, of Monroe, causing a collision. Another northbound vehicle, driven by Tara C. Leopold, 41, of Argyle, could not slow down in time and then collided with Robison’s vehicle. All parties involved reported that they were wearing their seatbelts at the time of incident and were uninjured. Robison’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Wenger’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Leopold’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
On April 4:
● At 3:07 p.m., Deputies responded to the N9000 blk of STH 104, Town of Brooklyn, for a one vehicle accident with no injuries. The driver, Kao Vang, 33, of Cottage Grove, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle. Vang’s vehicle crossed the centerline and entered the east ditch line, rolling over, and coming to rest in a field. Vang was uninjured, wearing his seatbelt, and had insurance. Vang’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, had airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
On April 5:
● At 10:18 p.m., Deputies along with New Glarus Fire, and Belleville EMS, responded to the N9000 blk of STH 69, Town of New Glarus, for a report of a two vehicle crash with injuries. The investigation resulted in a north bound vehicle on STH 69 operated by Pamela J. Johnson-Wiot, 58 of Freeport, stopped due to approximately 20 turkeys being in the roadway. While waiting for them to move, Johnson-Wiot’s vehicle was rear ended by another north bound vehicle operated by Benjamin A. Diddens, 19 of Freeport. Johnson-Wiot and her two passengers all reported wearing seatbelts and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Johnson-Wiot’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Diddens reported wearing his seatbelt and not being injured. Diddens’ vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Diddens was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
On April 6:
● At 2:00 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the W1500 block of STH 11, in the Town of Spring Grove. During the traffic stop the driver, Edward B.J. Johnson, 36, of Monroe, fled on foot. Deputies pursued Johnson and later placed him under arrest for two counts of Resisting/Obstructing Law Enforcement, two counts of Bail Jumping, and for two active warrants through Dane County and Rock County. Johnson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
On April 7:
● At 10:17 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2600 block of STH 11, in the Town of Jefferson, for a reported alcohol offense. The investigation resulted in Ramandeet Singh, 23, of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Sale of Alcohol without License. Singh was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
● At 3:17 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2300 block of Bloom Ln., in the Town of Clarno, for a reported theft complaint. The investigation resulted in Makayla L. Ball, 24, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for a Felony Warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Ball was additionally cited for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ball was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
● At 3:44 p.m., Deputies responded to the Probation and Parole Office, where Leon E. Bridges, 36, of Brooklyn, was placed under arrest for a parole violation. Bridges was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail without incident.
● At 4:11 p.m., Deputies responded to the N9500 block of CTH CC, in the Town of Exeter, for a one vehicle crash. The investigation found that a vehicle, driven by Kristine M.B. Ellis, 24, of Brodhead, was travelling southbound on CTH CC when she failed to negotiate a curve. Ellis then overcorrected and entered the east ditch, where the vehicle overturned. Ellis reported that she was wearing her seatbelt and sustained suspected minor injuries. Ellis was later transported to the hospital by Belleville EMS. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
On April 11:
● At 3:05 a.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of Franklin Rd. & Allen Rd., in the Town of Cadiz, for a single vehicle crash with injury. The investigation found that Oscar Margarito Diaz Gonzalez, 40, of Browntown, was traveling westbound on Franklin Rd. when he failed to stop at the intersection. Diaz Gonzalez then traveled through the intersection and into the west ditch of Allen Rd., where the vehicle collided with an embankment and tree line. Diaz Gonzalez reported that he was wearing his seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Diaz Gonzalez being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence. Diaz Gonzalez was later released to the hospital pending court.
● At 7:52 p.m., Deputies responded to the W8600 block of Smock Valley Rd., in the Town of Jordan, for a reported vehicle in the ditch. The investigation found that Jeremy J. Sheppard, 51, of Argyle, was traveling westbound when he drove off the roadway and into the ditch. The investigation resulted in Sheppard being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and cited for Failure to Maintain Control of Vehicle. Sheppard was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court or the posting of his bond.
On April 16:
● At 4:26 a.m., Deputies responded to the W2100 block of STH 92, in the Town of Brooklyn, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that a vehicle driven by Taylor J. Anderson, 30, of Evansville, was traveling westbound when he collided with a downed tree in the road. Anderson reported that he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt. Anderson’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene.
● At 4:23 p.m., Deputies responded to the W3200 block of STH 11, in the Town of Sylvester, for a reported two vehicle crash. The investigation found that Joseph F. Steuri, 66, of Brodhead, was traveling westbound, when he began slowing down for a vehicle ahead of him preparing to turn southbound onto High School Rd. Another westbound vehicle behind Steuri, driven by Eduardo Hernandez Mora, 49, of Monroe, failed to slow down and collided with the rear of Steuri’s vehicle. Steuri and Hernandez Mora reported they were both wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, with no airbag deployment, and were later removed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Hernandez Mora being cited for Operating After Revocation (due to an alcohol offense) and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. Hernandez Mora was later released pending court.
On April 22:
● At 8:47 p.m., Deputies were notified by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole, that a misdemeanor warrant was issued for Jason Flannery, 46, of Brodhead. Deputies made contact with Flannery and he was taken into custody and transported to the Green County Jail.
On April 23
● At 2:24 p.m., Deputies, Monticello Fire, and Green County EMS, responded to the N5800 blk of STH 69, Town of Washington for a report of a motorcycle crash with injury and ejection. The investigation determined the operator, Justin S. Helton, 32, of Monroe, was traveling south on STH 69 when he lost control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle then entered the north ditch where it overturned, ejecting Justin. Justin sustained non-life threatening injuries and was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Justin was transported by EMS from the scene.
● At 3:09 p.m., Deputies responded to 2841 6th St., Probation and Parole Office, to take into custody Wade Kosharek, 44, of Monroe for a probation hold. Kosharek was then transported to the Green County Jail.
● At 6:07 p.m., Deputies responded to the W400 blk of Red Cedar Ln., Town of Decatur for a domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in Sandra J. Hasselmann, 58, of Brodhead, being arrested for disorderly conduct and child abuse falling under Wisconsin domestic abuse laws. Hasselmann was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
On April 28:
● At 4:42 a.m., Deputies along with Albany EMS and Albany FD responded to a motorcycle crash in the N6500 blk of CTH E, Town of Albany. The driver, David French, 39, of Albany was northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his motorcycle, causing French to lose control, and lay down the bike. The motorcycle left the roadway ejecting French. French was wearing his helmet and other protective gear. French sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The motorcycle sustained functional damage and was towed from the scene.
● At 5:05 p.m., Deputies, along with NGPD, BVPD, BVEMS, and NGFD, respond to the intersection of Peerless Rd. and STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus for a two vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that Darlene C. Myers, 76, of New Glarus was in the northbound lane of STH 69, indicating a left hand turn onto Peerless Rd. Meyers was stopped waiting for oncoming traffic to clear when a truck driven by Liliana M. Castillo, 42, of Belleville, traveling northbound, struck the rear of Myers vehicle. Castillo’s truck traveled into the intersection and struck a guardrail on Peerless Rd. Both drivers were uninjured in the crash, wearing their seatbelts, and their vehicles sustained disabling damage being towed from the scene. Castillo was issued a citation with a non mandatory court date.
On May 1:
● At 6:36 p.m., Deputies along with Monticello Fire and EMS, and Green County EMS, responded to the N5500 block of STH 69, Town of Washington, for a one vehicle accident with injuries. Investigation determined that the driver, George W. Massicotte, 45, of Monroe was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle navigating a curve. Massicotte’s vehicle left the roadway striking a culvert and overturning several times. Massicotte was wearing his seatbelt and had injuries. Massicotte was transported to a local hospital. Massicotte’s vehicle had airbag deployment, sustained disabling damage, and was towed from the scene.
On May 2:
● At 12:53 p.m., Deputies were requested to assist the Rock County Sheriff’s Office at the intersection of STH 59 and STH 104, Town of Albany for a two vehicle accident with road blockage. Investigation determined that a vehicle driven by Myanna S. Celmer, 61, of Racine, was stopped at the stop sign at STH 59 and STH 104. A semi-truck, driven by Matthew A Poch, 50, of Fond Du Lac, approached the intersection and anticipated Celmer to turn into the intersection. When Celmer did not turn, Poch struck the rear of the vehicle causing damage. Both parties denied injury and were wearing their seatbelts. Both vehicles did not have airbag deployment, sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.
On May 4:
● At 8:13 a.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office, where James L. Sweeney, 44, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for a probation violation. Sweeney was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
On May 5:
● At approximately 6:18 p.m., Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the W2300 block of STH 11, Town of Spring Grove, for speeding. Investigations resulted in the driver, Rachel A Witke, 39, of Verona, being arrested for operating while under the influence. Witke was further cited for possession of THC. Witke was released to a responsible party pending a future court date.
On May 7:
● At approximately 7:44 p.m., Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the N4700 block of STH 69, Town of Monroe, for speeding. Investigations resulted in the driver, Markus M Signer, 31, of Freeport being cited for possession of THC and speeding. Signer was released with a future court date.
● At approximately 9:57 PM, Deputies responded to the W7000 block of CTH Y, Town of Monroe, for a reported disturbance. Investigations resulted in, Denise Zepeda-Cardona, 36, of Brodhead being arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Zepeda-Cardona was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending the posting of bond or an initial court appearance.
On May 7:
● At 1:53 p.m., Deputies responded to 2841 6th Street, City of Monroe, to take custody of Dalton C. Lehr, 20 of Monroe, on a probation violation. Lehr was transported to the Green County Jail.
