Junior J. Martin, age 90 from Albany passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Albany Oaks Assisted Living. He was born on February 11, 1936 the son of William and Marie (Potts) Martin in Soldiers Grove, WI. He graduated from Gays Mills High School. On February 5, 1974 Junior married Nancy Smiley.

Junior worked as a supervisor for a Road Construction Company for over 40 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Operator Engineer Union #139. Junior enjoyed spending time with his family and gambling.

Junior is survived by daughter-in-law, Mary (Arnie) Martin-Wells of Bagley, WI; grandchildren, Scott Martin, Shawn (Jen) Martin, and Michelle Martin; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; sons, Daniel Martin and Don Martin; and three grandchildren, Alan, Trevor, and Malorie.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
