Why should voters elect you?

I bring a strong record of public service, practical problem-solving experience, and a commitment to Wisconsin communities. As a state representative, I have worked to strengthen public education, support farmers and rural communities, and advocate for working families, all things of importance for the 17th Senate District. Before serving in the legislature, I was a village trustee who helped oversee local budgets, public safety initiatives, and housing development. Combined with my volunteer work in the community and consistent dedication to improving opportunities and quality of life for people across Wisconsin, I know SD-17 is ready for someone who will actually represent them.

What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?

Everybody is feeling the pinch of rising costs of prescription drug prices, utilities, groceries, food, and gas. The people of the 17th and all across Wisconsin deserve someone who’s making sure that they’re not getting nickeled and dimed to death because the state refuses to look after families and Wisconsin workers. In addition to costs, I hear a lot about public school funding – which is another way we can help alleviate rising costs. Properly funding our schools will lower property taxes. Schools, like the rest of us, are facing budget pressures. Wisconsin must properly fund our schools so every child has access to a high-quality education.

How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?

Wisconsin government should operate with greater transparency, accountability, and a stronger focus on solving problems that affect everyday families. For too long, partisan gridlock has prevented progress on critical issues such as education, affordable housing, prescription drug prices, and support for local communities. I believe government works best when leaders listen to constituents, collaborate across differences, and make decisions based on the needs of the people they serve. My experience in local government, housing policy, and the State Assembly supports a practical, community-centered approach to governing. I want the state government to invest in public schools, strengthen local economies, support working families, and ensure that every Wisconsinite has a voice in the decisions that shape their future.
