Flanagan, Jr. steps down as Black Hawk boys basketball coach

The Black Hawk School District announced that Michael Flanagan, Jr. has stepped down from his position as varsity boys basketball coach.

Flanagan has served as the head coach of the Warriors for the past three seasons. He will continue to serve as the Offensive Coordinator for the Black Hawk-Warren football program.

Flanagan’s wife, Kaylee, serves as the head coach of the Warriors girls basketball team. Flanagan’s father, Michael Flanagan, Sr. is the girls head basketball coach at Darlington and previously served as the head coach of the Black Hawk girls program for 15 years.

The Black Hawk School District has begun a search for a new boys basketball coach for the Warriors.
