On May 27:

● At 5:14 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident, with reported injuries, at 16th Avenue and 19th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Lori J. Runkle, 66, of Monroe, was northbound on 16th Avenue, stopped at the stop sign at 19th Street, entered the intersection and collided with a southbound vehicle on 16th Avenue operated by a 36-year-old Monroe man. Runkle was transported by Green County EMS to the SSM Monroe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver reported non-life-threatening injuries and was examined by EMS but declined transport. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed. Runkle was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign and released pending a court appearance.

On June 2:

● At 3:46 p.m., officers arrested Phillip S. Tackett, 64, of Monroe, at a residence in the 2700 block of 9th Street, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a parole violation. Tackett was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings
