ARGYLE — Emerald Crossing Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Cornerstone Lutheran Church of Argyle with the Covenant Youth Ministry Team will be held June 22-26.

Cornerstone Lutheran Church of Argyle will host a four member summer team from the Association of Free Lutheran Bible School, Minneapolis, Minn. The Covenant Team members will help lead five fun-filled mornings of Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone Lutheran Church. Each themed day of VBS includes stories, puppets, music, games, and hands-on activities. All children ages 4 through sixth grade are invited to join the Emerald Crossing — An Irish Adventure through Psalm 23.

Covenant team members include Isaiah Quanbeck, Elizabeth Norby, Jessie Monsebroten, Judah Kozicky. Extensively trained in children’s ministry, these students are spending the summer traveling through the Midwest, assisting AFLC congregations with VBS programs, summer youth camps, and other areas of service.

Daily VBS at ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Cornerstone Lutheran Church just south of town on Old Hwy 81 will be held June 22-26 from 8 a.m. to noon. A hearty breakfast will be served starting at 7:30 a.m. Snacks and craft supplies and learning materials are included for all participants. Transportation can be arranged for those that need rides.

The VBS program is no charge but they will be taking donation of paper products for the Argyle Food Pantry, like toilet paper, Kleenex and napkins.
