PRAIRIE DU CHIEN — The Darlington girls golf season came to an end in the WIAA Division 2 Prairie du Chien regional on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Only the top three teams and three individuals not on an advancing team qualify for sectionals. 

The Redbirds spent the 2024 season rebuilding after graduating its entire varsity lineup from 2023, which included individual sectional qualifiers Josie Meister and Sophie Wiegel. 

Edgewood, Southwestern-Cuba City-Benton and Prairie du Chien — along with individuals Lynell Miller, Margot Dhyanchand and Claudia Jenny — will advance to the Edgewood sectional at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7.
