MADISON — Monticello opened its 2024-25 season with a 40-37 win over Saint Ambrose Academy on Nov. 26. Knotted at 37 with just over a minute left in the game, Tyler Constantini got a screen from Hunter Grossen and scored the game-winning basket. Presley Ladwig’s free throw gave the Ponies a 3-point cushion they took to the end.

HAZEL GREEN — The Orioles dropped their season-opening game to the Wildcats on Nov. 26. Thirteen of Argyle’s 38 points came from the free-throw line, where the team finished 13-for-22. Ike Waage led the Orioles with 11 points. Jeremiah Collins and Mason McNett chipped in eight each.
