MONROE — With a 5-2 win over Madison La Follette on Sept. 9, Monroe is just one win away from matching last year’s total (10-12).

Additionally, the win was a good indicator of postseason play, as Madison La Follette and Monroe are in the same subsectional, which also includes Beloit Memorial, Janesville Craig, Janesville Parker, McFarland, Monona Grove, Oregon and Stoughton.

Players that are heating up entering the thick of the conference schedule include No. 2 singles Ryann Dahlman (11-5), No. 4 singles Allie Adrian (7-4), No. 2 doubles Alexis Gertsch and Brinley Roidt (7-1) and No. 3 doubles Mads Josephs and Ada Lehto (6-5).
