JEFFERSON — The Cheesemakers went up on the Eagles less than eight minutes into their Sept. 22 game and eventually went on to win 2-1.

Reece McIntosh took a loose ball on the left edge of the box and sent a pass through the center where Gustavo Herrera put his first touch on it into the net at the 7:11 mark.

Jefferson tied it at the 67:24 mark on a deflection off of a free kick

Four minutes later, Milo Dickson won a 50/50 ball that set up a one-touch passing clinic from Brody Schindler to Herrera back to Schindler who put a through ball into the box to Emiliano Torres Enriquez, who netted the goal.

Sugar River 1, Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld 0

NEW GLARUS — The Sugar River Raiders picked up a key 1-0 victory over Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld on Sept. 22.

Drew Brueggemann scored the game’s lone goal with an assist from Harry Hubbard.

The Vanguards out-shot the Raiders 27-21 total and 10-9 on net. Sugar River keeper Taydon DeRouin made all 10 saves.
