Ronald Eugene Zuberbuhler, 72, Oneco, Illinois, passed away November 2, 2018 at his home in Oneco, IL. He was born on April 30, 1946, in Monroe, Wisconsin, to Clarence and Marie (Kent) Zuberbuhler.

He attended Gratiot schools and graduated in 1964 before moving on to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education. He taught and coached high school football for a short time in Hazel Green before ultimately becoming self-employed as a farmer and insurance salesman.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Zuberbuhler of Monroe, WI; two sons from his marriage to Victoria Whitford (Goodell) of Darlington, WI, Nicholas (Mia) Zuberbuhler of Darlington, WI, Daniel Zuberbuhler of Darlington, WI; and one son from his marriage to Alice Trebian (Smith) of Hanover, IL, Wade (Angela) Zuberbuhler of Lena, IL; three grandchildren, Zoie and Zeke Zuberbuhler of Darlington, WI., and Camille Zuberbuhler of Lena, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Zuberbuhler. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
