The Green County Historical Museum will open for the summer season on Saturday, June 6, from 1-4 p.m. Highlighted this summer will be an extensive display of local rocks from the collection of Vashni Marchant. On June 20, there will be lapidary and early native items with the collectors in attendance to speak on their collections and preview pieces brought in by the public. Stop in to see these collections. The Green County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on June 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the museum, 1617 9th Street.
