MONTICELLO — The University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension will be offering a Scam and Identity Theft Prevention program at 5 p.m. on July 15 at the Monticello Public Library, located at 512 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.
This informative session is designed to help community members recognize common scams and protect themselves from identity theft. Participants will learn how scammers operate, warning signs to watch for, and practical steps they can take to safeguard personal and financial information.
With fraud and identity theft becoming increasingly common, this program provides timely, research-based strategies to help individuals stay informed and avoid becoming victims.
