Lynda M. Mauermann, age 80, of Brodhead passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at her home.  She was born on June 22, 1944 the daughter of Nelson and Myrtle (Bork) Christensen.  She graduated from Brodhead High School.  After high school she went on to attend and graduate from Business College in Madison.  On May 6, 1967 Lynda married James “Jim” Mauermann in Brodhead.

Lynda dedicated over 40 years of her career as a Senior Administrative Manager at Swiss Colony. She was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church.  Lynda enjoyed water aerobics at the YMCA, where she made many cherished friendships. She had a passion for traveling the world, was an avid reader, a proud member of several card clubs, and loved antiquing. Above all, Lynda cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of her life.

Lynda is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Jim; children, Craig (Sara) Mauermann and Shelli (Robert) Becker; grandchildren, Courtney and Meghan Fowell, Abby (fiancé, Ethan Edwards), Matthew, and Elisabeth Mauermann; brothers-in-law, Ron (Lois) Mauermann and Wayne (Ruthie) Gibson; and nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many dear friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Karen Gibson and Betty Edgar.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Monroe United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jadyn Meyer officiating.  Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
