Joan J. Wienke, age 86, of Monroe passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe.  She was born on August 8, 1935 in Illinois, the daughter of Otto and Ruth Rosenthal.  She married Howard Wienke in 1956 in Illinois.

Joan worked at Hager Pottery, Auto Meter, and Swiss Colony.  She enjoyed cross stitch, embroidery, plastic canvas crafts, playing bingo, camping, and playing the claw machines. 

Joan is survived by her children, Debra Wienke, Shirley (Tom) Tullis, Wendy Voltz, Faith Keele, Norman Wienke, and Dawn Wienke; grandchildren, Tony (Alyssa) Dalen, Brittany (J.D.) Pate, Raven (Fiancee, Ben) Keele, and Vicki Wood; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Guliana, Lilliana, Cadence, Bella, Ainsley, Gage, Ari; and sister, Mary Kamp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating.
