Dennis G. Dregne, age 67, of Janesville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in his home.  He was born on September 20, 1956.  Dennis was a graduate of Janesville Parker High School, class of 1974.  On Valentine's Day in 1976, he married Connie Indergand at St. John’s Church in Monroe, Wi.  Their marriage of almost 50 years was a testimony of unconditional true love up until the very last minute.

Dennis was a skilled journeyman carpenter and electrician by trade.   He was an avid fisherman, finding peace in the quiet moments by the water and many cherished fishing trips with his children and grandchildren. Music was another passion of Dennis', and he often could be found playing one of his many instruments.  Dennis loved his family so much, always spending time together and creating many cherished memories.  He was very present in their lives, always making himself available.  Dennis’ faith and relationship with the Lord was the foundation of his life. He was a member of Bethel Church in Janesville serving on the worship team and involved in missions.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Connie of Janesville; parents, Roderick and Sandra Dregne of Janesville; children, Kia (Josh) Andrews of Evansville; Cory Dregne of Middleton; Jerusleum(Babi) Samuel of Tacoma, WA, Frey Dregne of Newark, NJ; Mezzy (Solomon) Bibza of Akron, OH; grandchildren; Kase (Hannah), Ty, Asia, Cadence, Esher, Ila, Jaden, Brielle, Eden, Clayton, Eli, and Ellone; siblings, Steve(Anik) Nybroten of White Salmon, WA; Timothy (Kelly) Dregne of Janesville, Cindy (Steve) Vogel of Monroe, WI  and Lorrie (Steve) Nickel of Rio Rico, AZ.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Church, 3300 Mt. Zion Ave., Janesville. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the church, there will also be a visitation Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
