'Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues' set for Tuesday

Martin Scorsese's documentary film "Feel Like Going Home, Episode One" will be shown from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave., Monroe. Following the film, Madison musician and bass guitar player Tony Menzer, pictured, will lead an audience discussion, answer questions and provide live music demonstrations about the music genre. MONROE - The 2003 documentary film "Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues - Feel Like Going Home" will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave. This is the final of seven film screenings presented as a partnership between the Monroe Arts Center and the Monroe Public Library. Each of the films focus on a different genre of American music, with each genre represented in an upcoming Monroe Arts Center performance.
