MONROE — SSM Health Monroe Hospital has officially welcomed its first baby of 2025. 

Denver Suzanne Charlotte McLinn was born at 3:28 a.m. on Jan. 4, 2025. She was 20 inches long and weighed 8 pounds at birth. Her proud parents are Zoe Boolman and Jesse McLinn, of Freeport. 

“It makes Denver extra special for her to the hospital’s first baby of the year and our first baby,” said Zoe Boolman. “We couldn’t have asked for better care. It truly has been an amazing experience.” 

Denver’s middle names hold special meaning — Suzanne after mom’s sister and Charlotte after dad’s aunt. Denver is welcomed by excited grandparents Angela Wirth, Carol Wirth, Charlene McLinn and Jamie Hoett, as well as great-grandparents Duane McLinn, Stephanie Wirth and Michael Wirth.
