Stephen H. Kirchner, age 68, of Monroe, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at his home. He was born on April 23, 1949 in Monroe, the son of Hilton and Hilda (Eckhart) Kirchner, where he has resided until his recent passing.
In his youth, he was active in Boy Scouting and High School wrestling.
Steve was a 1967 graduate of Monroe High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Whitewater, WI. He later went on to get another degree from Blackhawk Tech and worked as a computer systems analyst for a local bank. He also enjoyed working at the local brewery.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Wong, her husband, Edison Wong and their 3 children, Winston, Everest and Whitney as well as their children.
Steve had many friends in town and will be missed by all who knew him.
A Private Celebration of Life of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
