Henry Eugene Henning, age 75, of Monroe, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born on March 10, 1937 in Hardin County, KY the son of Joseph and Mary (Webb) Henning. He graduated in 1955 from Breckenridge County High School in Kentucky. Henry and Susan (Norder) Henning were married on August 2, 1982 in Monroe.

He served in the Kentucky Army National Guard & the Army Reserve.

Henry farmed in the Juda area and later drove truck for Henning Trucking, Brodhead Grain, KTI, CHS and Dunwiddie Trucking. He was a member of Brodhead United Church of Christ, the Rock River Thresheree and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Susan of Monroe, sons, Fred (Carrie) Norder of Benton; Joe (Sara) Henning of Monroe, daughters, Henrietta (Dudley) Timm, Gena (Jesse Zuelke) Henning both of Monroe; Jennifer (Abe) Valencia of Oak Creek; Heather (Shanon) Liphart of Monroe; Megan (Mike) Rackow of Janesville; Amy (Ryan Gerber) Henning of Monroe; Kelsey (Vaughn Coplien) Henning of Orangeville, IL; brothers, Joseph (Helen) Henning, Leo (Judy) Henning both of Shepherdsville, KY; Aloysius Henning of Hardinsburg KY; sisters, Martha Payne, Fordsville, KY; Rita (Earl) O'Reilly of Hardinsburg KY; Laverne (John) Maccabee of Louisville KY; Rosemary (Jack) Spiller of England; Bernadette (Gary) Arrant of Falls of the Rough, KY; sister-in-law Barb Henning of Tylertown, MS; 17 + 2 on the way grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Joyce Norder of Monroe and special friend Heather Graham.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harry, brother in infancy, brother-in-law Ralph Payne, daughter in infancy and grandson in infancy.

Memorial Services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday December 30, 2012 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave. in Monroe, WI with Rev. Cal Schaver officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in KY. A memorial fund is being established in Henry's memory.
