'Blitz' brings home closer

MONROE - The roof has been raised on Habitat for Humanity's newest home being built for the Neuenschwander family in Monticello, with enough time to get the home finished on time for its debut.A "Blitz Build" was held Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the goal of getting the home ready on schedule for its November dedication date.Volunteers came together to meet the goal by early Saturday afternoon. "We are very pleased with the progress we have made during this Blitz Build" said Tiger Myers, Construction Coordinator for Green County Habitat. "This will go a long way towards keeping the project on schedule.
