Pardus to speak at GCGS meeting July 6

MONROE — Jerry Pardus, retired Stephenson County Sheriff, has been collecting antique fishing lures about 18 years. He will speak at the Green County Genealogical Society’s 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6 meeting at the Monroe Public Library. 

He will talk about his wooden fishing lure collection consisting of, but is not limited to, what is referred to as the “Big 5” lure companies. Refreshments are available for 15 minutes before the meeting. 

The meeting is free and open to the public.
