MONROE — Monroe Arts Center will celebrate the extraordinary voices of some of the area’s most talented female soloists as they take the stage in the concert, “Divas After Dark” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at Monroe Arts Center, 1315 11th St., Monroe. 

There will be a variety of musical genres and song styles presented from each of the vocalists. Jazz, Broadway, pop, and country tunes, anecdotes about the music, composers and the divas themselves will enhance the musical experience and delight the artistic senses of the audience.

With Big Radio’s Dan Blum as Master of Ceremonies, and musical director/pianist Cindy Blanc, the intimate “Divas After Dark” performance brings the magic of music to life.

In addition to the “Divas After Dark” concert, an outside “Ice Bar” on the front terrace will take place as a fundraiser for Monroe Arts Center. That evening, the “Ice Bar” will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. “Divas After Dark” ticketholders receive free admission to the “Ice Bar.”
