Herman and Marlene Jeglum, Blanchardville, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1, 2012. They will be honored by their children with a dinner held at Norseman Supper Club, Argyle.
The Jeglums were married at Primrose Lutheran Church, Belleville, on Sept. 1, 1962. They milked cows together for 47 years and now raise beef cattle and a few chickens.
They have four children: Wayne (Tammy) Jeglum, Blanchardville; Jayne (Jim) Gordon, Hollandale; Carol (Larry) McGowan, Monticello; and Cindy (Kevin) Arnold, Orangeville.
They have six grandchildren: Diane (Brian) Schlafli, Argyle; Stephanie (Travis) Holmes, Argyle; Jennie (Chris) Henderson, Belleville; Jarod (Melissa) Gordon, Bradenton, Fla.; Derek McGowan, Monticello; and Corey McGowan, Monticello. They also have eight great-grandchildren: Karter, Griffin and Chelsea Schlafli; Riley, Claire and Hunter Holmes; and Michael and Daniel Henderson.
