MONROE - Chris Soukup carded his first career ace Monday evening at The Monroe Country Club.
Soukup, playing in the inaugural Baumgartner's 5-Iron Classic, took just one stroke on the par-3 second hole from 137 yards out.
"It feels really good," Soukup said. "It feels incredible. I never thought I'd get one, honestly - especially not with a 5-iron from 137 yards."
The rules of the event allowed players to use only a 5-iron and putter.
Ben and Joel Hedeman, along with John Ditulio, witnessed the feat.
