LENA, Ill. - In a triangular with Illinois teams Lena-Winslow and Prophetstown, the Darlington-Cuba City girls golf team shot a tournament-best 192 at Wolf Hollow Golf Club on Thursday.
Ali McCauley shot a 43, Nellie Black had a 45, Taylor Burke shot a 51 and Dani Larson chipped in a 53. Darlington's two other golfers, Shelby Poss and Erica Leahy, shot a 55 and 63, respectively.
Prophetstown finished second with a score of 214, and host Lena-Winslow shot a 227.
Darlington next takes the course on Wednesday, Oct. 1, for regionals in Prairie du Chien.
