CAZENOVIA — The Parkview-Albany wrestling team has steadily improved as the year progressed, culminating in their first invite title on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The Vikings had three individual champions in the Ithaca-Weston Invitational, including Danny Finley (120), Wyatt Egan (195) and Wesley Egan (220). Finley recorded three pins and a 14-3 major decision. Wyatt Egan pinned all five of his opponents, the quickest in just 14 seconds. Wesley made quick work of his opponents in Pool B, pinning both. He recorded two pins in the bracket before an 8-5 decision in the championship.

Evan Suer (145) and Sam Schwengels (182) took second in their respective brackets, while Blake Finley (113), Ian Suer (138) and Nicolas Zamora (152) also made the podium at fourth.
