MONROE — The Cheesemakers struggled to find offense against Stoughton May 10 at T.R. Holyoke Field.

Junior Hayley Millard scored four goals for the Vikings — two in the first half and two more in the second. Kennedy Christensen, Reese Brekke and Jacqueline McGee also scored for Stoughton. 

Stoughton went up 3-0 in the first half. Two of the Vikings goals were by penalty kick.

Monroe was set to play at No. 1 Oregon on May 13, then host Baraboo May 17 and Monona Grove May 19.


Sugar River 5, Lakeside Lutheran 0

LAKE MILLS — The Raiders received two goals apiece from Bella and Anya Brenkman in a big Capitol Conference game May 10. 

Bella Brenkman also had an assist, as did Hannah Boldebuck. Jenna Gentilli had a goal for Sugar River, which led 3-0 at halftime. The Raiders defense allowed just one shot on net.
