JEFFERSON — No. 2 doubles partners Brinley Roidt and Alexis Gertsch earned the only point in Monroe’s 6-1 loss to Jefferson on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The pair, who finished the conference season 6-0, defeated Piper Crabtree and Olivia Miller 4-6, 6-1, 10-7.

No. 3 doubles Mads Josephs and Ada Lehto also went three sets but fell to Emmilia Snyder and Amanda Boucher 3-6, 6-4, 10-7. 

The rest of the matches were decided in straight sets.

Monroe ended the regular conference season 4-2 with losses to Jefferson and East Troy. The Cheesemakers entered the conference tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 1 as the No. 3 seed. Results of the tournament will be in the Saturday, Oct. 5 edition of the Monroe Times.
