Chicago-based rock band The Blooze Brothers played hit tunes from the 1960s, 70s and 80s at the recent Main Street Monroe Concerts on the Square in downtown Monroe on Friday night, June 26. During intermission, Mariachi band Sol de Madison also performed, wandering through the crowd. The next Main Street Monroe concert will be July 4 at Twining Park with Silence the Sirens in “A Concert Slightly Off The Square”. Following that will be Jon Bon Stamos on Friday, July 10 back on the Square.
