Raiders win second game

WAUPUN — The Sugar River Raiders got their second shutout of the season, 6-0 over the Waupun Warriors. It was the first-ever meeting between the two teams and the first-ever Capitol Conference game for Waupun.

The Raiders jumped out to a 1-0 lead at 1:18 in the first half on Ellie Brenkman’s goal. The score would stay at 1-0 until 15:39 in the first half when Ella Woodmansee connected for a goal to make it 2-0. The Raiders scored again in the first half on a goal by Kate Parman at 31:19 to take a 3-0 advantage at halftime.

In the second half, Raiders Nikole Schultz (47:46), Woodmansee (48:14) and Libby Iserloth (65:45) all scored.

The Raiders defense didn’t allow a single shot on goal.
