MONROE — The School District of Monroe announced Nov. 7 on its Facebook page that it will be using GoFan digital ticketing for all sporting events.
GoFan is a digital ticket provider for high school events. Many high schools in the conference already use the platform, and the WIAA uses it for its state tournaments.
Cheesemaker fans will now be able to purchase tickets online through the school’s GoFan page or the GoFan app. The switch makes the ticket process more efficient and safer. By purchasing tickets online, fans can share and access tickets via email or text. Although fans are encouraged to use the platform, card payments will still be accepted on site.
Before the event, fans should purchase a ticket on the app or website. Once paid for, fans will receive a confirmation with vital information. At the event, fans will be asked to present their ticket for gate personnel to validate. Fans are asked not to validate their ticket themselves prior to the event. Only mobile tickets will be accepted — not printed.
