On March 20:
● 5:46 a.m. Bradley J. Burmeister, 49, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on CTH G, Argyle Township. Burmeister reported no injuries. Burmeister’s 2023 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On March 21:
● 12:10 a.m. Ryan L Olson, 25, Argyle reported striking a deer on CTH G, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported and Olson’s 2018 Chevrolet received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 12:56 p.m. Corey J Haas, 37, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. No injuries were reported and Haas’s 2016 Ram received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● 7:34 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Blanchard Township for a one vehicle accident. Ana Y Fajardo, 35, was traveling northbound on STH 78 when she attempted to turn east onto Kainz RD, failed to maintain control and struck a stop sign. No injuries were reported and Fajardo’s 2014 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Fajardo was cited for No Insurance, Operating with a Valid Driver’s License, and Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control.
On March 23:
● 12:42 p.m. A deputy responded to Locust ST, Village of Blanchardville for a two-vehicle accident. Michael G. Mason, 52, Monroe, was operating a 2003 Kenworth on Locust ST when he failed to see Gabriel W. Murray, 36, Janesville, stopped at the stop sign, causing Mason to collide into the 2026 RAM operated by Murray. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
On March 25:
● 12:12 a.m. Deputies, Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS responded to STH 11, Shullsburg Township for a one-vehicle accident. Jhorshy B. Azurdia-Santos, 21, Shullsburg was traveling Eastbound on STH 11 in a 2015 Subaru when he crossed the center line, entered the north ditch, struck an embankment, rolled 2-3 times and came to a rest in the south ditch. Azurdia-Santos received minor injuries. Azurdia-Santos was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Jail and was booked and remains in custody for a Probation Violation, Operating While Intoxicated- 2nd Offense, and Operating After Revocation. He was cited for Failure to Maintain Control- 2nd Offense and Failure to Report an Accident. Azurdia-Santos’s Subaru received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On March 29:
● 12:28 a.m. Deputies, Argyle Fire, Argyle EMS, and Green County EMS responded to STH 78, Argyle Township for a one-vehicle accident. Tylor S. Rebout, 21, Blanchardville was traveling on STH 78 when he lost control of his 2016 Buick, causing the vehicle to overturn before coming to a rest. Rebout and his passenger Marley J. Erickson, 16, Darlington reported minor injuries and were transported to Monroe Hospital and Clinics. Rebout was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operating While Intoxicated- 1st Offense. Rebout’s Buick received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On April 2:
● 9:53 p.m. Willians A. Medina-Galindo, 27, Illinois was cited on STH 81, Seymour Township for Operating While Intoxicated- 1st Offense. He was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains in custody for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License- 2nd Offense. Lafayette County EMS assisted.
On April 4:
● 1:50 a.m. Delvin A. Orosco-Lopez, 25, Shullsburg was cited on W Water ST, City of Shullsburg for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License- 1st Offense and Operating While Intoxicated- 1st Offense. Lafayette EMS assisted
On April 5:
● 12:37 a.m. Kieth P. Rielly, 56, Wiota was cited for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI – 1st Offense) on Center ST, Village of Argyle. Rielly was transported to Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office where he was released to a responsible party. Darlington Police assisted.
