Brandon S. Goecks

Brandon S. Goecks, 49, of Monroe, WI, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2026, due to a heart attack. Brandon was born in Whittier CA to Carla Goecks on December 16, 1976.

He attended schools in Monroe, WI, Whittier, CA and Oakhurst CA, where he graduated from Yosemite High School in 1995.

Brandon worked as a salesman for many years (some thought he could have sold snow in Alaska!) He was a lifelong member of the New Apostolic Church, where he played the organ and sang in the choir.

Brandon was an avid collector of vintage glassware, including uranium and cadmium glass and glass marbles. He also had a passionate interest in Automation Stereo Systems, with which his Black 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe was well equipped. He won numerous trophies and recognition in car audio competitions, which donated proceeds to cancer, diabetes and other charities. Brandon loved fishing and visiting the Casinos.

He is survived by his daughter, Alaina Goecks, CA, his mother, Carla (Ernie) Tamm, of Caledonia, WI, his siblings, Shane (Lauren Bennet) Sysonexay, Madison, WI, Becky Sysonexay, Janesville, WI, nephew Elliot Panyara, Madison, WI, uncles Jon (Dee Dee) Goecks, CA, Alan Goecks, CA, and his aunt Karen Reddick, AZ. He was preceded in death by his brother Justin, his maternal grandparents, Carl and Bonetha Goecks and his uncle, Greg Reddick.

Brandon dearly loved his cat, Toker. We thank Travis for giving Toker a new home and Justin for preparing a delicious meal for the family.

Brandon was blessed with an amazing group of friends, who have shown our family much love and support. Thank you all.

Thanks also to our dear family and friends for their support in this time of grief.

Thanks to Rebecca, Gloria, Christine, Louie and Jim for their tremendous help.

The family also thanks Monroe EMS, Police, Fire Dept., Dr. Taleb and the SSM Monroe ER team for their valiant attempt to save Brandon’s life. Special thanks to Chris for staying at the scene with Brandon.
