The Monroe Cheesemakers held senior night and recognized six seniors, then beat Watertown Luther Prep 5-2 in Rock Valley Conference action on Thursday May 14. The seniors from the Cheesemakers are Alex Gerrits, Carsen Bartholf, Hamilton Stites, Michael Henning, Tysen Folgate, and Ismael Estudillo.

Monroe improves to 12-6 overall and 6-1 in the Rock Valley Conference.

“We will go into the conference tournament in second place behind East Troy but will have a shot to make some noise with our well-rounded lineup,” said Monroe coach Matt Bordner.

Also, for the third straight week, the Cheesemakers are ranked No. 10 in the state in Division 2.

“We’re really excited about how this team is coming together at the end of the season,” Bordner added.
