MADISON - The Monroe High School boys golf team played a dual match against Madison Edgewood in the rain Tuesday, and the Crusaders were able to weather the storm for a 21-stroke victory, 149-170. Madison Edgewood's Ben Gilles shot a 1-over-par 35 at Nakoma Country Club to win medalist honors. "I'm surprised with the conditions they shot really well," Monroe coach Braden Rindy said.
