Orangeville (Ill.) allowed just one hit over two games for the second straight year in Saturday's annual Black Hawk Softball Invitational.
After Katie Boals allowed a hit in a 21-0 romp over Monticello in the semifinals, the Broncos got a no-hitter from Abby Lilge in the championship as she struck out nine and walked one.
Boals went 2-for-4 in both games and Aryn Wellnitz took the loss for Black Hawk in the title game. The Warriors defeated Elkhorn, 7-2, to get their finals berth and Monticello lost to the Elks 9-2 in the consolation game.
