Waylon J. Buehl, age 44, of Blanchardville, died Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. Waylon was born on August 21, 1979 in Monroe, the son of Kevin and Julie (Leck) Buehl. Waylon graduated from Monroe High School in 2000 and completed various courses at Blackhawk Technical College. He worked at Greenco Industries for 19 years.

Waylon always greeted you with a hug and had an infectious smile. He had many interests including camping, fishing, attending tractor and car shows, taking train rides, driving tractor, and working on the farm. He was dedicated to his task of blowing the noon whistle at the Rock River Thresheree.

He will be missed dearly by his parents, Kevin and Julie Buehl of Blanchardville; his sister, Belinda Buehl and her daughter, Aurora of Edgerton; and many loving aunts, uncles, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his uncle, Dave Leck.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
