Robert E. “Bob” McKenna, age 90 of Gratiot, WI passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. He was born August 19, 1929 on the family farm in Red Rock the son of Gerald and Helen (Webster) McKenna. Bob grew up in the Gratiot area and remained there his entire life where he owned and operated McKenna Grain & McKenna Trucking. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Betty McGlynn on August 19, 1950 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gratiot.

Bob is survived by his daughters: Nancy Larson of Argyle, WI and Donna (Dennis) Breed of Warren, IL; his grandchildren: Kristin (Paul Hughes) Larson of Hollandale, WI, Melinda (Shawn) Sauer of Warren, Ryan (Kayla) Larson of Rewey, WI, Shelley (Matthew) Thompson of Warren, and Corey Breed of Warren; his great-grandchildren: Meranda Breed of Warren, Mitchell (Kaitlyn Pitzen) Wagner of Hollandale, McKenzie (TJ Davis) Rowley of Mason City, IA, Masyn Neff of South Wayne, WI, Michael Neff of Warren, Meridyth Neff of Warren, Kaley Thompson of Warren, Tanner Thompson of Warren, and Charly Sauer of Warren; and one great-great-grandchild: Keeva Breed of Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty; one sister: Joyce Houston; and one brother: J. Bernard McKenna.

Bob was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gratiot and was a proud member of Gratiot Fire Department for a number of years. He enjoyed attending all of his children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s extracurricular activities throughout the years and cherished the memories they created together.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (5685 Main St., Gratiot) with Rev. Sudhakar Devarapu officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Gratiot.
